1planhost support sucks too!

Most hosting companies have at least ONE feature that compensates for their other shortcomings. Not 1planhost (scamming fuckers that they are!). Even their support is useless. Support is pretty much the easiest thing to get right. Install a ticket system, steal an FAQ list from your competitors, done.

So why is 1planhost support so crap? So unbelievably crap in fact?

First, they obviously operate a policy of 'the more sites you host wi 1planhost, the less attention they pay to you'.

You'd assume the opposite, wouldn't you? Each site costs $99 a year, so 10 sites makes you a very valuable customer
in most hosts. But NOT with 1planhost idiots, here's why. They know that the more sites you have with them, the harder it will be to move them all somewhere else, ergo, the worse 1planhost can treat you.

If you host more than 3 sites with them, 1planhost start treating you like a moron. If you host 5 sites, 1planhost will treat you like a complete and utter cunt. If you host 8 or more, well don't expect ANY support from 1planhost except automated canned responses like the one below.

1planhost also don't hlp their case by only hiring cheap texan bimbos for support. Their technical knowledge is limited to 'have you tried restarting windows' or 'have a great day'.

Said it before, say it again 1planhost suck donkeys. you have been warned! PS - they are also liars - they don't honor their refund promise! EVER!

MAY! STILL wiating for a refund!!!

Those shysters at 1planhost are nothing if not good at stealing your hard earned cash. 1planhost seem to think their 'no quibble money back guarantee' is just for show, and does not actually need to be actioned. This is the typical scammer ploy (of which 1planhost are a nasty example) - create a few 'pretty' pages (cheap, nowadays, with webdesigners willing to work for $5 an hour) covered in reassuring noises, then wham! Once 1planhost have sucked you in as a customer, you can forget about support, refunds, or even decent uptime on the 1planhost server

In frustration, thinking maybe I hadn't 'filled in the form right' for those shitsucking parasites 1planhost, I sent the 25th email requesting a refund. no response

more lies from 1planhost - still no refund

As I had multiple domains with those scamming liars 1planhost, I had to fill in the tedious 'cancellation form' several times - once for each domain that 1planhost had fucked over.

1planhost, devious little shits that they are, regularly move this cancellation form to discourage honest customers from asking for a refund. 1planhost don't give refunds anyway, despite what they say on their site, but they will use the excuse 'you haven't filled in the form' to delay you for a few weeks, in the hope you will give up and go away. What a bunch of evil shitters 1planhost are.

Once again, I got a canned response from the 1planhost airhead texan bimbo 'Tammy'. Presumably she wasn't too busy filing her nails of doing Darren with a strap on to reply to my request.

1planhost 'apology' - refund my money, fuckers!

After about 4 days (i.e. just long enough to TOTALLY screw any income my websites were making!) 1planhost, useless bastards that they are, finally threw in the towel and admitted that they had fucked up. And let's face it, 1planhost had already cost ME ALONE about $4,000, so I'd imagine the total cost to the poor bastards trying to host with these 1planhost morons to be in the millions

Below is the 'apology'. They can't even address the customer by name, now that really IS (not) customer service, 1planhost you losers!

Needless to say, it didn't help at all to know that they would add 'more dedicated staff' (i.e. more Texan Bimbos - 'Have a Great Day' or more indian non-english speakers). I'd rather have had my money back as tehy promise on their website

Having decided to try and get my domains AWAY from those 1planhost shysters, I followed the procedures they force you to use EXACTLY. No joy. 1planhost just refused to transfer the domain to my new registrar, godaddy. Wonder why? Ah - because the renewals were almost up, and they wanted to force me to renew one last time with those 1planhost cretins.

Now what? 1planhost are stealing MY domains - domains I paid good money for. Time for lawyers? 1planhost - what a bunch of fucking criminals.

I contacted godaddy to try and find out what was up. Unlike those incompetent morons at 1planhost, the support at good old godaddy got back to me in MINUTES. Nothing they could do about it. I'd have to challenge those theives 1planhost directly.

Having been thru the tedious 1planhost 'web form' to request cancellation several times, I can authoritavely say 1planhost NEVER honor their refund requests. Follow up emails have no effect either, as the following proves. 1planhost are just a bunch of stealing assholes with no morals.

The 'web form' by the way, is VERY well hidden on the sleazy 1planhost webshite. It's slmost as if ... gosh .. I dont know ... 1planhost want to make it DIFFICULT for you to cancel anything? Even if you have a REAL legitimate IMPORTANT question for 1planhost (such as why have you destroyed all my sites, and with it my business???? What did I ever do to you 1planhost except pay your exorbitant fees??? you will get a canned response from these 1planhost retards.

Here's one thing those useless clowns at 1planhost are REALLY good at - automated canned responses. When you submit a ticket, you'll get one of these suckers back within the hour.

No escape for the living hell of 1planhost

Having failed to extricate even 1 of my domains from 1planhost, I actually managed to get a support response from them by threatening to take them to abitration.

Those shysters 1planhost had 'released' control of my domain 'to me', BUT... it would be 60 days before I could do anything about it!

And guess what? That's right those sneaky bastards 1planhost had delayed this so long that 60 days would expire the domain - i.e. I WOULD BE FORCED TO RENEW MY DOMAIN WITH 1planhost theives or it would expire on me. In contrast, REAL hosts (i.e. ANYONE apart from 1planhost fuckers) simply exchange the registration record FOR YOU, and it's all done and dusted. Coincidentally I transferred a domain from easyhost who use the same system as those lying cowboys 1planhost, and I had complete control of my new domain and registration at godaddy within 4 hours.

How can I esacpe from 1planhost cowboys?

Needless to say, I didnt spot the 'hidden' 1planhost bombshell in that excrutiatingly self-congratulatory email they kept spamming me with. Nothing else they had ever sent me (except my cpontrol panel details) had required reading, so why should this.

Within 3 days, however, I woke up to find that 1planhost had fucked all my websites. Literally. None of them were working. My businesses were screwed by 1planhost. And worse, my adwords campaigns were still funnelling traffic to these now 1planhost-crippled websites.

1planhost - what a bunch of shitters. I tried to phone them. Nada. Please leave a message. I tried to email them. Nada. NO WAY OF CONTACTING 1planhost except to get on a frikking plane and fly 3000 miles to the seedy shack they inhabit in texas.

In desperation, I tried to move one of my sites away to better hosting than 1planhost could supply. TRANSFER DENIED

That's right. 1planhost, bunch of scammers that they are, dont register your domains in YOUR name they register them in 1planhost's name - liars and theives that they are. Then when you try to extract YOUR domain, you get crap like this:-

so called 1planhost migration

Bang. Those fuckwits at 1planhost suddenly decided to 'migrate' all my sites to another server. This was allegedly because they had sold out to a larger more pro operation (lets face it no webhost could get LESS professinoal than 1planhost scumbags).

So they sent the following email round Once for every frikkin site I owned.

As 1planhost were in the habit of spamming thier customers, probably only about 3% of people read past the first paragraph. Which was a shame, because that's where the fuck up is.

Unbelievably, these 1planhost cunts had decided to 'migrate' my sites using a back up more than 1 month old!

And I didn't spot it, becauuse they hid it way down under all the 1planhost rah rah crap about great developments, new horizons, the usual 1planhost bullshit. Have a read. Have a laugh.

As you may have gathered from the emails we sent out in the past 30 days concerning the upgrade to new servers, there are some exciting changes on the way!

On Saturday, April 15, 2006, between 3-6am (Eastern Time) we will be switching the primary and secondary DNS for all 1PlanHost name servers to the new network, servers and data center located in New Jersey. The greatest advantage of the new servers and data center is that you will see a significant improvement in security, reliability and performance.

In addition you'll also benefit from:
- a new on site engineering team and increased network performance
- a new technical support team available 24/7 by phone,
e-mail, HelpDesk and online chat!
- a significant increase in network speed so your site will be delivered much faster

As with any change involving the migration of web sites, databases and email accounts, we will need you to be involved in the migration of your site.

We have created a migration tutorial site at http://www.1PlanHost.com/migration which you can use as a reference to help transition your account to the new servers and data center. With most static web sites most likely you will not see any issues at all during the changeover. With dynamic database driven sites there will of course be some synchronization of files needed and any web site form or database connection string which has a specific IP address in it will need to be changed to the new server IP address. We have provided a list of the new new/old IP addresses in the migration tutorials at the above URL.

As stated in previous emails, we have set up your account on the new servers and used the site data from March 16th backup. Any changes you have made after March 16th will not be reflected on the new servers so be sure that you have a complete backup locally for your web site that you can restore to the new server once the switch has been made on Saturday.

IMPORTANT: We will keep the old servers running for the next two weeks (until midnight, April 30, 2006) so you can access and download your web site files, database files, or old email. However, on May 1, 2006 we will completely remove the old servers from our data center so if you need to retrieve any files from the old servers after Saturday's migration, you will need to do so prior to April 30.

The team that will be managing the migration has moved thousands of customers and servers in the past, and has the experience necessary to minimize disruption for our customers. Still, we will need your assistance during the process to make the transition a success.

We do recognize that even the best laid plans for migration can have moments of frustration and possible downtime. We will do all that is necessary to minimize potential issues that can cause frustration for you, our valued customer. While there may be some minor issues during migration, rest assured that we are here to assist and we will be available to get your web site, email or database working properly should there be any problems with your account.

Our customers will also have 24/7/365 access to our support agents by phone, e-mail and chat to address any issues that may occur. 24/7 phone support will be available starting Monday morning at 877-467-8758 (chose option 2, then shared hosting support).
